Expectations of a new season

This last Winter must have been the worst cold and flu season I have ever experienced in my entire life. Bad enough to get it yourself, but when you live with five males who come down with it, it is sheer hell.

I was hoping that now Spring is finally here, it would signal the end of all the dreaded lurgies. Unfortunately this is not the case. Luckily I found some meds that might help alleviate the situation for the short term.

  1. OMG I need some of that medicine for the man in my house. As a health professional I can vouch for the fact that when it comes to most illnesses, females cope better than males, and this starts in early childhood. It has indeed been a terrible flu season. Hope they harden up soon. Any word on the offer you made last week?? F x

    1. The offer was rejected (was kind of expected). However (and this will be a separate post) we have potentially 3 options - continue with current house or there are 2 other properties we are currently looking at. xx

  2. Ha ha ha ha ha! Sent this straight to Legoman. Have only just managed to convince him that the pain in his calf is not a blood clot or a tumour but is in fact a muscle strain courtesy of the school working bee. melx
ps my last comment appeared to not appear on your house offer post- how exciting and stressful. Are your architects cranky? or enthused about possible new projects? melx

    1. The architects are OK - they fully understand that a project brief is an ever evolving beast. I would definitely use them for any future projects. My guess is that we will continue with the cottage - we are just putting it out there to see what happens.xx
