"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week in 2013." via Che and Fidel

LESSON OF THE WEEK
The kids in Jack's Grade 3 class have been doing a bit of dictionary work this week, and some of them have been looking up the meaning of a few 'interesting' words which are not on the curriculum. This week he discovered that a certain female body part actually starts with a 'V' rather than 'G'. No dear - it's not a 'Gi-na.'

  1. Great photos this week...Toddler C is just starting to ask about male and female bits and I have no idea what to call them! I know he will likely come up with his own words...but maybe I should just hand him a dictionary!

  2. That tree is amazing, my boys would just love to have that in our yard to climb. Just love those cheeky boys looking up certain words in the dictionary, just goes to show, some things never, ever, change!

  3. Oh happy happy days! (not). Someone told the entire grade two class about sex and Roboboy chose to clarify it all with me as I pulled out onto peak hour traffic. When I tried to fob him off he said that was ok, just give him the specifics now and the details later. When I gave him a brief summary, he then paused, looked concerned and said Oh YUK, and abruptly changed the subject! ( we are neanderthals and still call it a wee-wee!). mel x
