Down this country lane...
and through this gate..
I stumbled upon the most amazing house.
and is surrounded by mature, shady trees...
The house has large, wrap-around verandahs....
and all of its original features are still intact....
I am in love...
Oh I love it too. Nothing better than a ramshackle old house in the country but near the sea. So, are you making an offer? I am on the edge of my seat with your week to week house pursuits! mel x
ReplyDeleteI'm always on the lookout for an interesting piece of real estate - we just might have a crack at it!. We are still proceeding with our current reno. xx
DeleteI am in love too!
ReplyDeleteI think I would make that my permanent home and look for another weekender!
Yes, it's so tempting. I've got to stop looking at real estate - I get too carried away. xx
DeleteWow! Love it so much. Looks perfect for a weekender!
ReplyDeleteIf our situation was different, it could certainly qualify as a permanent address. If only we didn't have to work! xx
DeleteLooks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is! This house has been in the same family for 70 years. Apparently Carinya is an Aboriginal word meaning peaceful and happy home. That's exactly the feeling I got as soon as I drove through the gates. xx
ReplyDeleteThat is one beautiful house.
ReplyDeleteImagine how a fresh coat of white paint would bring it to life......
Tania xx
Precisely my thought, which brings me to my next post on the same house. xx
